Planning for the 2011 Queensland Coastal Conference is underway with the successful bid by Girringun Aboriginal Corporation as the host organisation.  Phil Rist, Executive Officer Girringun Aboriginal Corporation, is the new Chair of the conference steering group committee. 

The conference will be held in Cardwell, Queensland, in early August 2011.  arinex pty limited have been successful in their appointment as the 2011 conference organiser.
