Queensland Coastal Conference The Queensland Coastal Conference has been run successfully as a biannual event since 2007 to provide the coastal management community with an opportunity to discuss issues, share ideas and look for shared solutions. Previous Queensland Coastal Conferences and host organisations. 2007 – Bundaberg (Burnett Mary Regional Group) 2009 – Gold Coast (SEQ Catchments) 2011 – Cairns (Girringun Aboriginal Corporation) The 2013 Queensland Coastal Conference will be held in: Townsville, from Wednesday 2nd to Friday 4th of October 2013.
